Need help with editing

So i've been getting more and more serious with YouTube since i'm almost hitting the 400 subscribers mark. That also includes editing. However, i find editing to be the hardest, most boring thing to do in the YouTube bussiness (If you do not know alot about Sony Vegas) it's not that i'm that bad at editing. I know how to make montages even though that's not my thing. And i'm able to cut boring pieces out of a video. But that's my problem! Let's say i'm gonna be making a highlight/funny moments video. How can i determine what's gonna be a funny moment and what's not funny.. I find that quite hard because i'm a perfectionist and everyone has a different kind of humour.

If you have any tips or would like to help me develop in it. Just leave me a message down below :D

I have a few tips.

1. Have someone else watch your video with you. This way, you'll get the perspective of a person watching your video for the first time. Then ask them what they thought. This could be tough for some people, but ask them to be honest.

2. If your making a best of, I would suggest watching through it multiple times, and cut out the clips that just aren't funny. I made this mistake with my best of, and I wish I could fix it, but I can't now.

For me, editing is my favorite part in the process of making a video! :D

Thanks for the tips.
As of right now, editing is kindof a struggle. But i'm eager to learn more about Sony Vegas 14 and it's capabilities!
