What should I use (software) (which is free) to make an intro for a video for my normal gaming vids?
Or is there a possibility that i can get someone to help me make it?
Thanks for the Help.

Hmm.. I'm not entirely sure if there is any free software that can make a quality intro video.. Your best bet would probably be contacting someone about making one for you. :)

Learn Blender. Free, you can make cool stuff, and... Its free! :-D
blender is notoriously difficult to use and learn! if you want to learn blender just for the sake of 1 intro then it would be more time and cost efficent just to hire someone

Difficult? Well at first it might be difficult, but it's not something that can't be easily self taught. I figured it out within a few weeks and created some decent quality intros for myself a while back. Why waste money on something you can easily figure out with just a little bit of free time and some YT tuts. It's easier than using something like C4D or Maya, imo, and it's FREE! :D

lol u mad bro?
c4d is ridiculously easy compared to blender!
after effects is better suited to intros than any 3d software tbh… and there is no point making an intro taking you a few hours when you might give up on youtube.
i personally dont bother with intros… its not needed! my viewers know its me because they go to my channel to watch the videos! its just a stupid trend! its like with outros, minecraft, cod… just because loads of people do it doesnt mean you need to!

however… since i am in the proffessional industry (BBC etc) we put intros into our feature films and all our proffessional work because it gets the audience concentrated and they are then ready to see the opening shot… thats all right when your videos are being shown in cinemas and homes where people are distracted.
youtube videos are not needing that because the viewer is concentrating on the screen allready!
i hope i explained it well… (i probs didnt)
peace

lol u completely unoriginal in commenting?

I'm not mad, I was just answering his question. He asked for a free way to produce an intro and I gave him an answer...and I highly doubt you're in the "professional" industry, you can't even spell, doge.

i thought you might say that

i am typing on a fiddly iphone screen.
im just saying that blender has a ridiculously hard learning curve. to achieve footage that doesnt look like some cheap crap which is the birth of several badly followed youtube tutorials... you probably will know what i mean. at least with after effects you can not only learn how to use after effects which is a very useful tool. if you are going to do animation as a primary genre-great! go for it! if you made your intro on blender for a channel dedicated for animation which you will need a 3d tool, that is assuming blender since you cannot afford 3,000 piece of kit (c4d) then well done you can animate easier!
but this channel is a gaming channel so blender is unnecessary.

my advice for op is: dont bother but if you really need an intro...hire some other youtuber... in fact there are tons who will do it for free so they can
say how they have done requests and thumbnails etc so later they can start charging. believe me, ask someone whos' channel is dedicated to art and animation. then you will have killed two birds with one stone= 1) the time it would take to learn a software(A LOT) would be gone
2) you would get a much nicer and better intro which will reduce the risk of potential viewers being put off from a video because of the crappy intro.

good luck,

I figured you were, I was just poking fun. :p

I agree with you 99%, I feel that if someone wants something, they should learn to at least try it on their own first. The most logical thing to do would be to ask someone to make him an intro, but I think he should at least look into trying it out and seeing what he can do.

But yes, he should probably just make a request for an intro.
