Need help finding Vlog video material... Any ideas?

So I am starting off a vlogging channel but there's a few problems with coming up with content because I am a full time college student and work 4-5 days a week and live in the middle of nowhere in south Mississippi. Only cool place that I ever decide to go to is to the beach on the MS coast. I don't live too far from New Orleans but I'm not a big fan of going to New Orleans, but I have considered doing adventure vlogs just visiting rivers around the area since there are so many rivers around here or even this one park called Red Bluff which could be some great scenic shots. Any advice?

Tell stories, make a bonfire and burn everything you don't want to own anymore. Get drunk and wrestle your friends.

be interesting

Im in a similar boat, i work full time and really my weekends are the only time i have to make vlogging content. I think you would be surprised though how interested people are in daily life of others and learning about places they are unfamiliar about. People might be interested learning about your "middle of nowhere" lifestyle.

Also you can't go wrong with beautiful scenic shots. Good luck.

Film the best bits over a month or a week, and go out into the world and do things. Content will always outweigh any scenic shot.

well even though you live in the middle of no where you could still film the area, go for walks, see what you can find that you never saw before and document it, you could do vlogs after work or college and talk about interesting things that happened that day, try and incorporate some home life stuff and come up with something you could film whilst at home.

So if your daily life isn't all that interesting to you, why are you making a vlog channel? I'm not being mean (or trying to be), but it seems like a strange content choice if you don't have anything that you want to film, even before you start the channel.

What would you like to see in a vlog channel? Is it possible to do that on your channel? Always make the videos you'd like to see, I say.

I totally understand what you mean in the first part, but I have fun shooting videos like that. Photography has become a passion for me and getting scenic shots are fun too for me so I feel like it would be fun doing it. I used to do diffrent kind of videos a few years ago and never found the happy medium. I've thought about doing like weekly vlogs to recap a whole week. But thank you for the constructive thoughts, I take everybody's opinons into consideration.

if your into stuff like that have you considered doing exploring/urbex instead of vlogs, you wouldnt need to upload everyday in that case to fit a vloggish schedule, once a week would be perfectly fine for an urbex video

That does seem like something that would be fun but I know once summer comes back around it would be easier to post daily vlogs but I'd hate to create a following for that then change up my style after almost a year.

I have this same issue! its why i have not gone to daily vlogging. I suggest 3 times a week just blog your life. You will start to see that you will start just doing things. we found a pass that lets us go do a ton of stuff in our area for very cheap! Thats has gotten us off our rears and out and about. Otherwise i was just working then coming home and hanging out and then to bed. Just start doing anything and then you will see. Plus i have never seen anything from that area. Would love to see stuff that may be common to you but very not common to the rest of us in the world.
