Hey guys,
So if you have checked out my channel you may know that I mainly edit sports videos. I have a few others but most are sports and gopro videos. Now i really enjoy editing but dont have time and money to be doing amazing and adventorous things to record everyday. I have started making a how to and tests series on my channel for GoPros but just had a quick question. I have had a look around and have not managed to find GoPro/Sports video editors in Australia. So i thought why not myself. Now i wanted to ask how many of you would want this service? I would start of free and it would be good for some people who dont have software like after effects and twixtor and then maybe later on would charge a little. I could also have say a video and edit package for people living locally. They can hire the camera for a day and either have me record or record themselves, then bring it back and i will edit and do everything for them to create a complete video.

So what do you think? :)
Thanks

Why don't you offer the service for free as long as you can put the footage on your channel? They'll still be on Youtube and your channel will grow, Win Win.

This is really difficult for a purely online service as the files can be large and difficult to send.
It can be a very small local business I presume, but as you know, not everyone has the time to have wicked adventures and film with a super cool GoPro =P

thats what i was planning but if it ever grew to a decent size or customer base charging a little for my time wouldnt be bad....

yeah i was wondering. I could always use a file sharing site e.g they upload the files, i will download them all then i will reupload them or something along those lines. Would have to figure it out.

Hi, I checked out your videos, you have some cool stuff. I like the wavehouse ones the most. The bad news is a lot of people are trying to be editors on youtube so it’s hard to get noticed and get a following. I would suggest you head to the channel ClipHive as they have loads of clips you can download and edit yourself as long as you give them credit. Then submit those videos to some or the IRL editing channels like SaviourCentral or RLE cinema which might drive some more traffic to your youtube channel and then people will give you there footage. Good luck

Nice Edit broo! Earned a sub;)
You should Defo add some Color Corrections! Try Out Magic Bullet Looks!
And should add or test out some Motion Tracking! Would make things alot better:)

Thanks for subbing :) appreciate it. Ill have a look at Magic Bullet Looks and see what its like. Also do you know any good tutorials for motion tracking? Cause i tested it and found it quite hard on AE6.
