Need help designing a channel background and other stuff

Hi there im in need of help in designing a youtube channel background and a better avatar
il be greatly appreciative if someone can help as i lack the skills and software to pull it off

if i were you jump on one channel; don't wate your time with the old channel background as it's being phased out google youtube onechannel and opted in as for channel than you just need a banner and a avatar

I don't think you should waste energy and time for making a channel design since the new YT layout is on. Better try to design banner and avatar only?

it is actually much easier to manage so for your banner do you have a picture you really like that you have taken ??

for you avatar if you have a white wall in the house or a red wall or heck a blue wall take a head shot of you and use that as a avatar.

for example this thumbnail for this video is great but i think you should take a high quality camera shot with a solid colour background

hmm ok and for a banner im thinking rainbows some cool text saying (Fudgedupfuzz is the place to be ... screw you steve)
as i havent got any high quality pictures on my computer currently
