Hi,
I'm new to the forums and also to Youtube. I know how to record, encode and edit videos, but I'm having a lot of trouble with deciding what content to make. I've come up with some ideas for shows but I don't really think that they would appeal to a larger audience. These are the ideas:
Retrosexual- A show whee I play retro games. Episodes 2-3 time a week. The problem with this idea (at least to me) is that not a lot of people are interested in retro games.
(something) in the morning- A show recorded in the morning and posted at around 15-16 CET for the viewing pleasure of America. I would record the audio in the morning and put it on pre-recorded game footage. It would be a gaming related semi-vlog, slightly news but mostly just me talking about things. Episodes 5-times a week.
These are my ideas so far. I will probably do a video on saturday (or sunday, depends if I have time) where I play requested games.
But I'm pretty sure that these videos would really only appeal to a niche demographic. So I would like your opinion on my show ideas and what you would like to see instead. I'd like to be strictly a variety gaming commentator and not just play Minecraft, Happy Wheels and Slender. Also I really wouldn't like to do let's plays as I get bored of games easily and wouldn't be able to provide regular content for them.
Also I need help knowing what to talk about in a video so my videos aren't like "But overall as I said the game looks really nice...this is a really nice game..." just repeating myself over and over because I've run out of things to say. Hardware wise I've got everything I need for good quality videos.
Thanks for the feedback.[DOUBLEPOST=1354361491,1354354755][/DOUBLEPOST]Another show idea I've thought of:
Have you heard of...? (insert game name here)- A firt impression series on games. Mostly indie titles but some triple A titles here and there. I feel pretty comfortable with this show as I feel it will appeal to a larger audience.
