Need feedback on video length.

The channel I would like reviewed is: http://www.youtube.com/user/KGATV

Recently I've been trying to crackdown on my channel, and optimize it for the best results. Since YouTube now looks at watch time to determine how the video gets promoted, or ranked higher in searches, I've been spending a lot of time in my analytics looking at audience retention.

In the past 30 days, my average view duration is 0:56, or 27% of the video. My newer videos have an average of 1:00 or less, ranging from 15-40% of the video. My videos range from 2-4 minutes.

Here's where I need your help: How can I improve my content to keep the viewer interested all the way through the video? I would appreciate it if you could watch some of my videos, and tell me exactly when you begin to loose interest, and your opinions on how to fix that. Please give me your honest opinion.

Thank you,

You could always keep your videos under 2:30...

I love your channel but I feel like sometimes you can cut out some of what you say. Not that it's not interesting because I like you as a person, but I think it didn't necessarily need to be in there. For example, I think in the JB video, you could have cut out the entire explanation about why you and JB are not alike and just kept the part where you two were wearing the hat in the same way.

Another thing is I always have a hard time hearing what you say.

Those are just my opinions.

I hope that came out sounding not harsh.
