The mic i use is actually a webcam and a mic combo kinda deal, but it works GREAT imo. Check out one of my videos if you don't beleive me ;p. Anyways it's called the Lifecam HD-5000 and it's around 30 bucks or so at amazon. Hope I could help!
I would wait and save a little more .
Spending 30 bucks for a microphone you'll probably change in 2 months because you broke it/the quality is s**t/aliens wanted their kid back is not worth it .
I have the Samson Go Mic and it's pretty good .
Way better than the Blue Snowball and the price is pretty much the same .
I could record without editing the audio track and it would sound amazing anyway .
I'm telling you it's not worth it to buy cheap mics because I did the same thing for 3 years .
I could have my own studio with that money by now .
Get a blue snow ball, I own one and it works great. The difference between the snowball and something like the yeti are not a huge difference. I own both and I think the snowball is a great first mic and a great backup mic!
You could simply use an headphone jack/w mic and plug it into an iphone to record audio. If you know how to do settings, you could make your audio clear and crisp. That would be a cheap way, if you have an iphone/droid.
