I've Got It
i dont upload often i know (once a week) but i went fro getting 32 views a day on average to 20:/ how do you guys keep it going?
 
Mine too. I think Sandy killed some of my viewers. Hope when the power is back there it will get up again, because I lost many views in the US.
 
Just basic SEO and spamming your vids all over the internet will significantly increase your views.

Spamming tips:
post your vids up on forums. all over the place. And use reddit. spam it there.
Maybe create a blog!
Having your video embedded all over the internet will also help it's ranking in search engines.


SEO tips:
Be sure to like and favorite each of your vids. And watch it at least 5-10 times.
Create playlists and each video to 1 or more playlists. This helps in search rankings.
Add more information to your titles. Put your title and tags and extra keywords in the description of your video (this helps your video rank higher in searches)
Make sure you have the maximum amount if info you can put into your tags!
Write a transcrip .txt file of your video and upload it as a closed caption (helps in search engine ranking)
Put annotations in your video. If you put an annotation with a link to another one of your videos it will help with ranking.
Add a video response to each video (just respond with a different one of your videos)
Make sure your vids get a few likes and comments soon after uploading and then reply to them (helps with ranking).
Upload at least once or more per week.
These things alone will help you rank higher in youtube searches and show up in related videos. Should bring a little more traffic.

HD is important too.

We dont talk of these things.... Be definitly don't do them either. :|.... Totally...lol...
 
I find I have a pattern of ups and downs for my channel. Sometimes I'll get subscribers and comments for a few days, other times it's quiet. I only upload like once a month. I'm not convinced about uploading once a week. Unless you've got really good content that people can't wait to watch. Most of the time if a channel uploads every week I start getting sick of them and stop watching.
