My very first Twitch stream!!!

Hey guys, I'm EXCITED because I just recently bought a ps4 w/the evil within and also gta 5 (last night). I definitely want to start my first Twitch stream this weekend (Friday night IF POSSIBLE). I want to do it on GTA5 for the FPS Mode online and maybe do some missions. Are there any tips or advice you guys can give me for my first stream??? It'll be GTA5 Online, and drinks will be involved, so it shall be a GREAT NIGHT!!! Thanks in advance!!!
 
Nice, good luck with it. Make sure you do a few test runs first, make sure you have everything displaying as you want it. You dont want any issues when you are live :)

The reason i dont stream at the moment. It takes me around 2 hours to upload a 10-15 min video to youtube, no way can my internet hold a stream. Especially when i have like 7 devices running off my router.
 
I agree with some of them ^ Do a few test runs first to make sure everything is working. Maybe have a few missions in GTA planned out to do with friends or make up some games of your own. Be yourself! Happy streaming!
 
I wouldn't recommend streaming lower than 720p or lower than 2.5mbps. Any lower and the stream quality won't be good enough to keep people on and the stream may be choppy.

If you're using third party software to stream like OBS or Elgato software to stream make sure you create some cutaway cards for things like toilet breaks so people know you're going to be back soon and that you haven't just left the game turned on.

Oh and look at the chat every now and then replying to people either with speech or typing. As this modes new people who haven't upgraded from the Xbox 360/PS3 version might have questions about how some things look and that might be the only reason they're on the stream so try and feed their hunger and they might just follow you in return.
