My New Background/Avatar

What do you guys think of my new background and avatar on my channel? Well, the avatar. I made the background 2 days ago. I'm more happy with the avatar than I am the background personally.

Depends if you did the whole avatar art or just added the text.

The picture in the back is my background I use for my desktop. (The Triforce) I then layered the render of link over top of it. Finally, I added the text. I don't know how to do fancy looking text in GIMP yet, so I just used the regular "triforce" font. :/

The actual sizes of both of these images are a lot bigger.

Ah, I see. Understood. Not bad work. I recommend you get Photoshop, it's much better and more user friendly than gimp. You can easy find it for free on the piratebay etc.

After I get pretty good with GIMP, I'm going to switch over to Photoshop.

I watched a few tutorials and this is the updated avatar.

Not really different. Just a border around the text.
