Sound is a very important thing when it comes to videos on YouTube, there are some videos which have terrible noise coming from the environment and there are some videos which seems like the person has digested the microphone and is talking into their stomach to record a video.
Around a week ago while I was watching Thunderf00t, a video came up in my suggestions bar at the side entitled "Box Fort Sound Studio", where he was in a really echo-y hotel room that degraded the sound. He made a small boxed in area out of a few pillows and a blanket and took the micrphone in, the difference in audio quality was fantastic - So I gave it a go.

And here's my make-shift sound studio, you wouldn't believe how hot is gets under there, when I was finished I was pouring with sweat - It was worth it though.
I took this picture when I was going to put the camera away, it was perfect so I took a picture of it.
If you suffer from bad sound, I recommend making a small studio.
