My Friend is Subbotting Me, help!

Hi,
For a while now, one of my 'friends' (should I even call him that anymore) has been targeting mine and my other friends Youtube channels with fake accounts harassing us and manipulating us. Recently I've been seeing sudden jumps in subscribers, I was at 35 a few weeks ago and now at 81. In a message he sent, he said 'I just wanted to see you happy', obviously trying to get back on my good side just to manipulate me.

At this point I am sick and tired of him and his absolute bull:poop: and I want to get him to stay away, however if I block one of his accounts from my comments he'll just keep coming back. Is there any way I can stop him from doing this? I want legitimate subscribers on my account and he is ruining everything for me.

Unfortunately blocking him from commenting does not change the fact he can sub bot your channel. I'm not sure if there's really a way to stop someone from doing that to you besides asking them not to. :(

That sucks! I hate stuff like this, One of my videos was once botted to give it like 36x (367 I think it was, around that) likes and thousands of views, the views didn't stick (because YouTube obviously saw the problem with getting so many likes in such a short time for no reason) but the likes stuck... I've reported it so many times but it hasn't gone away ... So annoying!
From the looks of it, since it wasn't a huuuge amount of subs I would just ignore it, YouTube will eventually filter them out either way!

Explain to him in the kindest way you can that false subscribers actually harm your channel, not help it, and that if he really wants to get back on your good side, the first thing he needs to do is cease this practice.

That friend should have known this, that's why he has malicious intentions to continue.

You already answered something I wanted to point out. He is no friend. Tell him to kindly cut it out or cut him out of your life. You don't need that kind of help.
