My channel content has changed, should I create a new channel?

My channel is about a Day in the Life of different people. The first 2 videos we're famous Muay Thai Boxers, so those videos make up 90% of my sub's and views. My new videos about regular people not muay thai fighters are struggling to get viewers. Did these famous Muay Thai fighters mess us my channel and youtube algorithm? Is it worth creating a new channel? What can I do?
