Motivation

Hi! I've been creating videos for a while now and I'm currently uploading weekly, but on some weeks I find it hard to stay motivated. So, I've been wondering; What do you guys do to stay motivated to make YouTube videos?

It all kind of depends on what you kind of want out of it maybe. For some people like me that want to go into the film industry later in life may try to stay motivated by saying that "the more I keep on with this, the more I can improve and gain more experience for in the future so I can't stop now." Or if you are also like me and feel like you don't have as many subscribers as you feel like you should have and maybe don't have that many people watching your videos, then you could think to yourself, "Everyone has a hard time getting off the ground, it is the hardest part of any kind of business, association, etc. Eventually they get there though with the hard work. No one has ever gotten big off of stopping what they were doing and just giving up, it just doesn't happen like that." That's my piece of advice unless you have different goals or interests, then in that case...... I wouldn't quite know what to advise you to do because I don't know your personal goals or interests yet.

Firstly, I gotta sorta be in the mood. And when I am about to record, I listen to some proper decent dubstep and that makes me feel pumped and then I can record. :)

If I start to feel demotivated about my channel or the videos I'm working on, I try new things and experiment with different types of content. If you find it fun then hopefully your audience will, I have a really short attention span so I find that if I do something like a series, unless I keep changing it up or introducing new things, It gets a lot more difficult to keep working on it, each week/month.
