Most amount of time put into a video?

I've got a yen for being in Japan!
whats the most number of manhours that you've put into producing one video? How long was that video runtime ? What made it take so long?

For me the average time is about 4-6 hours done about 1 hour per day for a week. That's just how my schedule works. Tell me about yours

For me, there was a video that took almost 24 hours to complete. Reasoning being Vegas crashed a couple times, and then corrupted the video files causing me to have to re-obtain good clips. Naturally it wasn't 24 hours straight, but it did take about 3 days of 8 hours each to finally get everything working. Figured out later it was the way my recording software was saving the files that made them corrupt so easily.

Good question, it mostly depends on the kind of video. By now I optimized my video style, so the creation time is a couple of hours everything included, but back then it was several. The most time consuming thing is writing the script, I usually revise it a bunch of times on different days.

6-8 months for my last vid, because it just takes that long plus lots of deleted and changed scenes, plenty of movement rather than standing dialogue, and lots of flash crashes.
but it was worth cause its he's the fastest growing video I've ever done, and it's one of the longest most complex animations I've made so I'm really proud of the finished result

This is admittedly a complex question for me because I'm first and foremost a musician. That being said, I usually spend more time on the audio than on the visuals, though it's not to say that my music uploads are mere still images to the music either, unlike some other music uploads there...

Anyway, the music exceeds at least a few hours of consecutive work, though it's important to note that unless it's music for someone else, the amount of time I spend is usually spread across at least a week, no thanks to my attempts to organize music into albums. The video itself usually takes about one hour to make decent visuals for and then export.

EDIT: sorry; misread the subject, though I'm keeping the above just so people get the idea. The longest to make videos I've made were those rare cases when I've used my voice, usually for tutorials, and those are usually a day or two of consecutive effort.

It took me about forty-eight hours to make my interactive adventure thing for my channel a few months ago, but other than that most of my videos take only a few hours to edit tbh

The video that took me the longest to make is definitely my latest one. (In my signature) Took me at least 10 hours to edit. I don't know if I'm working slow or I'm doing something wrong but every minute is like an hour of editing for me. I don't even know if it shows but I'd like some feedback.

No that's pretty normal. The general rule of editing is 1 minute of footage = 1 hour of editing.
