Month of Pokemon this September Advice?

What should I do for Month of Pokemon?

I've Got It
I've decided to dedicate my first full month of being on youtube to my first video game series: Pokemon! Everyones favorite series where we send little critters to fight eachother!

Originally, I was planning to do a Let's Play of Pokemon Blue video every day for September, and maybe into October if it stretches that much. But now I've an idea of doing 1 video every weak into a specific topic into pokemon. Like top 10 pokemon/gymleader, hopes for pokemon x and y, and maybe a video that sums up all of known Pokemon X and Y into up into that specific point.

But I'd like to have your opinion on what I should do. Should I do a lets play? Or a video a week on specific topics on pokemon? Or should I go crazy, and do both?!

Thanks! But seriously, I'm doing this because I love both ideas, but I don't know what to do. I COULD do both, but then I'll have no free time (unless I record all my weeks lets play in one go), since I'll start classes September 1st.
 
ask the people who watch your videos? their opinion on what they would like to see would be better than mine i guess.

That would be true if I had a certain amount of subscribers. I had uploaded my first video a couple days ago. The month of pokemon is pretty much my first full month of making videos, and this is "kind of" like a way of me saying "WOOHOO, a whole month!" Obviously, that means I don't have alot of subscribers right now (I only have 5 right now.) This topics purpose is suppose to draw in those who like pokemon, and what they would personally like to see from a youtuber that would do the same thing I would be doing.
 
Pokemon's a toughie to do, as you have to do it with a lot of knowledge and in the quickest way possible. It get old to watch too, depending on your style. But good luck dude. We didn't do more than 5 episodes of pokemon black. It's a long game so...we didn't wanna stick it out.

Pretty much, it'll be my preference in alot of things. Like favorite pokemon/ gymleaders, ect
 
Whichever one you choose to do just know that doing a Pokémon Let's Play is extremely difficult as it tends to start getting boring. If you do decide to do a Let's Play then make sure to cut out any grinding you may have to do or any monotonous tasks like travelling or random trainer battles unless something interesting happens. Personally I'd rather go with top 10 etc. option rather than a let's play. However, if you can manage to do both to try out which one works for you then by all means go for it, different things work for different people.

Trust me, I hate it when people show grinding during their regular lets play videos. If I was going to do lets plays, I'd definitely cut out the grinding. I'd only show important events that happened during grinding(like evolution.)
 
If you do both it will help you show up more on the Search Engine and Recommended channels for people who make simillar videos and you will get more views. Remember more videos = More Views.
