Monitor to watch source video

Merry Christmas to all!! So i am editing my video and i realize that on one screen the monitor makes the image seem brighter than it does on the other and i don't like it, but i don't know if this is may be how the image actually looks. I have two monitors a tn panel and an ips. Should i view my videos off of the tn or ips?

I would see if you could go into your monitor's settings and calibrate both monitors for better colours and contrast, etc. I'm sure there are some tutorials out there on the best way to go about it.
