Monetizing Videos? One and all?

Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted on here and I'm re-launching my Youtube Channel.

Just a question to get some clarification.

If I monetize my channel, do I have to monetize ALL my videos or can I select certain videos to be monetize only?

For example., I have one video where it is at a medium risk of copyright issues - Therefore, if I enable monetization on my channel, can I NOT monetize that one video, but monetize videos I want to earn money on?

Yup, I have some unmonetized videos on my channel, most are unlisted but one is public. I can't monetize it because it's of a professional hockey team, the NHL legal people told me I could upload the video as long as it's not for commercial use (monetized or licensed). Sad thing is GoPro actually wanted to buy the video from me but I couldn't sell it

You can select which videos you want to monetize.

There is always an option for the video to enable or disable monetization. So you can select any video that you want to monetize.

You can choose which videos are monetized, but that has zero bearing on violation of copyright. If your video has copyright issues, it has them whether it is monetized or not.
