Monetizing denied.

Lanorc

I Love YTtalk
So i monetized a video.. got permission from the person who made the music to put it in.. and alllllll of the video is mine.

Now.. what the problem? :D

(sorry you're not allowed to post videos in here, even if they're relevant to your post)

You need to place links/permission in the description, otherwise they will not think you have permission.

I think you need to give a prove to Youtube that you have asked owner of the music permission. Another thing, you should give a credit.

Isn't there usually a submit additional information or something on the denied monetization where you can add in links and information to prove you own it?

Yup. If we submitted a video that has copyright in it. Youtube will labeled it as "Matched Third-party content" on Video Manager. Click that and click "Dispute" and then prove it.

Oh. You already did it? Good to hear that Youtube approved it

As far as Youtube is concerned unless you have a legal document stating you categorically have the right to profit off whatever you've used then they don't care. Youtube tends to just randomly deny you to test you. Partnering with a network should guarantee you can monetise.
