Monetizing a Co-Directed channel?

Hey Guys,

My GF and I have a channel and would like to monetize our videos. Since it's both of our channel do we need to get a business tax id so that the money will go to both of us?

Just trying to figure out how to split the money evenly.

Hey there

Well I don't have any experience with this but my suggestion would be to add one account to AdSense. Afterwards when you get paid you will just either give her the half or she will give you the half. Depending on who is getting the whole thing. I don't think there's an other way. If so someone might have the answer and reply soon

Check your YT monthly earning on your own youtube.com/analytics then u know how much you earn & will split it.
