Monetization?

How does it work? I'm really quite confused on how this works and would appreciate if someone could explain to me how this monetization and networking stuff works.
When's a good time to monetize or partner? I have only ten subs and lately have been getting 30-60 views per video so I doubt it's important to me at the moment.

I started my monetization since the starting of my channel, its useless if u have no audience, once u build millions of audience, then u will definitely earn lot of money
Least count for monetizing = 1000 subs
Once u monetize, youtube will place ads around your videos, but if ur video is copyrighted, then you cant monetize that video
Dont click on ur own ads haha, this is what I done, and my monetization ended LOL

Hi Moogin! How are you? First of all wishes for your channel. then did you verified your channel. if not first do that. then only you are eligible for long uploads and Monetization. Then you can enable for Monetization now. but check for copyright issues (as a gaming channel). if copyright strike happens you lose Monetization. all the best

Most games I play I won't have copyright issues and I verified as soon as I started making videos.
I feel like if I monetize now I would draw away viewers, when is a good time to do it you think?

I think you should start doing it as soon as you're verified. You won't earn much money initially, but why not? Yes, ads can be a pain, but I don't think people will be too affected by them. A penny's a penny after all
