Monetization disabled - help?

Hello there,

youtube says, monetization is disabled for me. It won't say why, it only shows some points why this could be.

I once uploaded a video without the music rights (which was obviously not my fault because the song was uploaded by "ByeByeCopyright ).
So the video wasn't available in my country (Germany). So I deleted and reuploaded it.

My account says the following:

I applied for RPM 11 days ago. I have to confirm my AdSense ( Google's payment amount thing ) which should be done tomorrow.


My question: Will my monetization status be enabled when AdSense is fully running and will I be able to partner with RPM then?
 
When you were signing up for RPM it says do you have any copyright strikes etc? I didn't have that 'red button' as it were but I declared that one of my montage videos wasn't my music but now it has been set to private.
 
I don't know. If the video of "ByeByeCopyright" said you can use it, make a screenshot of it and counter the strike. If "ByeByeCopyright" made the music and give you rights to use it.
 
Its a bit hard to say what could be affecting your monetization. It may be in the process of moving to RPM or something and therefore may have been disabled to make the transition easier. Usually a red circle means your monetization has been disabled due to breaking its terms, such as a copyright strike or adsense being disabled. Personally I would wait and see if RPM contacts you again about the issue, if you manage to partner fine it may just be their way of moving you over.

I might be able to say more if you can post an image of your video manager or tell me if there is a $ sign next to each video in green or whatever the icon next to public is? If there is no sign at all for monetization say that aswell, as each symbol means something different :)
 
Okay, so it has been completely disabled rather than just turned off. Did YouTube ask you to provide proof for the music on this, how did you know you couldn't use the music:

It showed me a notification about copyright issues etc. but i removed the video.
AdSense is not yet activated, could that be the reason?

Possibly but you don't need an adsense account for monetization to be enabled, you just don't get paid, I'd wait until tom at the least and see if RPM sorts it out.

Theres also the possibility that YouTube disabled it. If they found copyright content and asked for validation that you own it, and you deleted it without said proof or acknowledgment they can disable monetization. Theres been a few cases of that but thats an extreme occurrence personally. Hopefully its just RPM messing around with it :)

We found out that your AdSense application has been denied. Without an available AdSense-Account you can't take part in monetization programs.

Please change the AdSense account linked to your Youtube account.
