Monetisation Help.

Hey People of YTTalk, sorry if this has been asked before or if this is in the wrong place/page (im still new here) but i have a question about a video that i edited for the team page, all of our videos are set to be monetised (dont ask why its just how it was when i joined the team last year)

Now this one video out of all the ones ive edited says that its not eligible for monetisation, when i click on the little icon that looks like a dollar with a slash through it (saying not eligible for monetisation) it gives no reasons as to why its not eligible, theres no music or copyrighted sounds in the video.

Any help/idea as to why this is the only one to have a problem would be much appreciated

Thanks

I have an answer, but it would be good to post the title of the video so I can confirm my suspicion.

YouTube has strict rules on what is considered "advertiser friendly"; if your video contains what its automated system considers "sensitive material", your video will be automatically denied monetization even if it was earning money before; they've obviously re-calibrated the system recently.

Hey thanks for offering your help, but ive just logged in and now its been monetised, i have no idea what was going on but its been monetised, again thanks for your help

This means that your video is not advertiser friendly. If it happens in future and you know the content is advertiser friendly, you can use this form: support.google.com/youtube/contact/revenue_share and explain to YT what happened.

Ah Ryan? The form you have linked is for submitting commercial rights information: I really don't see how that would help with a claim of non-advertiser-friendliness. Can you explain how it would assist?

It's the same department, and they'll usually help from that form. I would suggest the partner support contact form, but I don't think OP meets the requirements to be able to use that.

Understood, and you are most likely right about the second.

Hey Ryan thanks for replying but what do you mean by advertiser friendly? theres no difference in any of the vids from that playlist but it was just 1 episode that didnt/wouldnt monetise, but then all of a sudden it did, im just confused by why it wouldnt in the first place
