Gaming Minecraft weekly news show!

Hello everyone! So i have recently been thinking about What kind of series i could make and upload on youtube one of the co op ideas i had is an weekly news discussion between 4 people while we play minecraft. We talk about global news and at the end we could maybe discus some game news. Would anyone be interested in doing this? I'm looking for around 4 people that are 17+.
 
Sounds like a good idea, but you gotta make sure at least someone has the news information prepared beforehand. Also, what sort of length would it be? :)

He's got a really good point. When I did a podcast with my friends the first thing I did was get information. It really did help!
 
That sounds like a great idea. You will have to make sure you keep your news tied to pop culture, because I don't think people interested in political or money related news would be interested in minecraft, and I don't think people interested in minecraft would be interested in political or money related news.
I wouldn't mind helping you if you like. I can't put a lot of time into it, but I should be able to jump into a game and chat about the news for a while.

I was thinking 30-40 min.. Is that good? Yeah ofc. We would talk about what to talk about before starting.[DOUBLEPOST=1378134541,1378134399][/DOUBLEPOST]

Hm Maybe.. I think if we make a one episode a week we could wrap up everything important that has happened in the worlds that week. Gamers needs to know what is going on in the world as well as any others. ;)

I may be interested, but I will let you know in the next couple of weeks as I want to see what my school workload is going to be like first.
 
Cool! I was playing around with the idea and came to think about something! We would get better results if we added a bit of comedy in it.. We could make an live stream out of it and host it all on an open server that people can join in. We could be in an small area just talking while the people outside can come up with silly things. We could ask some of our friends to act as guards that will control it a bit while people are to come up with funny ways to get to us. We would ofc record it then edit it before posting it on youtube, making it even more comical.. what do you think? We talk about news, people join in on the live stream and on the server, listening to us discussing news while they also can play around.

I like this idea, but you couldn't start by doing that. It would take a little while to get enough people interested to do something like that. I think the best option would be to just upload for a couple weeks to see if you can get people interested before going through the trouble of setting up a live stream and a server. This is one of the most creative and original ideas I have seen, and I honestly hope it works out for you.
