Microphones...

I've Got It
So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good microphone, one that doesn't cost the earth!
Ideal I'd like to spend no more than £30 on it & preferably one that works well with both cameras & computers.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions :)

Well for £30 it's going be very difficult to get one of a good quality if you are using it for the PC more I'd suggest saving up about £50 for USB mic preferably the Blue snowball ICE :)
If your using it for a camera more, I'm not to familiar with those type of mics sorry :L

All the Blue Microphones are amazing but you might have to spend a bit more then what you are wanting..

Unfortunately, I really need one that can plug into a camera jak, a USB one, no matter how good still doesn't fit what I need :(
Unless someone can suggest a good audio adapter as well?

Hit up Amazon.co.uk and search in musical instruments for "Shure microphones". Your budget is a little lower than I would suggest, but the Shure C606 would handle what you need very well. You will also need to buy an XLR cable (length depending entirely on how far you need it to be from the camera) and an XLR to Minijack adapter to plug it in to your camera.

If you can afford going a little bit higher, the Shure SM48 is a better choice, and if you can go higher than that pick up the Shure SM58. The SM58 is a professional mic and you will NEVER get rid of it, I can promise you that. Amazon may not be the best prices, so shop around.

Good to see the Blue crowd beat me here.

Well, I do know for a fact that I just recently bought a blue snowball ice, for 50 dollars, originally 100 dollars *Its still on sale on amazon* and it works like a charm ;)

I use an Audio Technica ATR-3350.
Its within your budget as well - you can check out what it sounds like from any of my videos.
I plug it straight into my camera, clip it to my shirt, and record as normal.

I recommend getting the blue snowball it is a bit over your budget but it is so highly reviewed on youtube! check out some reviews on it. you will not be dissapointed!
