I've Got It
Hi.
So I'm trying to figure out what type of microphone do I need for my youtube stuff. I am planning on doing vlogs with skits,( sitting and walking) The best example that comes to my mind are danisnotonfire videos. I am gonna use DSLR probably Canon T3i ( wanted to buy 60D but smart people on the internet say that the video quality is the same :D). I dont want to spend more than $100. Any ideas?
 
Blue snowball! Its £55 jn uk but i think that should be around $90 in the us. Although if you was to spend $150 blue yeti is the best microphone in my opinon out there :)
 
There are currently 5 threads and 1 sticky on microphones that exist on the front page of this forum. Going back further in time you will find hundreds more.
 
Don't get a blue snowball or blue yeti..those are for video game commentators..
Look up lav mics and pick up the best reviewed one you can find.

Yeah don't get a blue mic as they're more for connecting to the computer ect. As i've said in a previous post I got this mic of amazon for £5 and it does the job perfectly! Shotguns mics are good, but I wouldn't use them for your purpose. Audio levels risk being different the more you move about, it'll be more consistent with a lav mic.

Seriously....This is asked, in a new thread, at least twice a day. People would rather spend more time asking the question, than by clicking the search button.
