Microphone Breathing

Hello everyone,i have a Logitech USB Desktop Microphone (it don't lets me to put a link so if you search on google and go to images you will find it)

It is pretty good microphone,it has no background noise but the problem is that i hear my breath and this is a problem because i use to record and it annoys me as hell.

Can i buy a pop filter for that microphone ? i mean i can put the pop filter on that microphone ? you have a picture with the mic above, and if i can put a pop filter on it do you think it removes the breathing ?

I am really wondering if pop filter removes the breathing

Please help me :)

Thanks!!!

I'd say so as they all connect to the stand, and that has a stand it could join onto. However I will point out that pop filters don't reduce breathing noises, they remove the higher sounding pop's you get when saying certain letters. The only reason they reduce breathing noises is because you are forced not to get as close. Maybe try being a bit further away before buying one :)

You can remove unwanted noise such as breathing using an audio editing program like Audacity.

If you use Sony Vegas to commentate or i'm pretty sure most other editing software's should have it, you can easily lower the threshold (dB) this should pick up less not so loud sounds such as breathing!

There are a couple of things you can do - A screen would help, the microphone I purchased actually does real well in reducing it (though you can still hear in some instances), I also try to take a deep breath before I begin talking and then cut out the deep breath piece which limits it. I don't know of anyway to stop it completely though, alas.
