I have a headset that I'm going to use to record commentaries with. It's plugged in by USB, but I need it to be plugged into my PS4 and laptop simultaneously, I can only plug it into one or the other at the moment. Is there a way around this like a splitter or something, or is it not possible?

My headphones have two wires, one usb, one headphone jack, and it came with an audio splitter to hook up into the tv. Not sure if usb splitters exist though. I'm sure there's a way around it, though! Not sure what it'd be.. sorry

I don't think you can get a USB female to male splitter, I've never heard or seen of 1, never stock them where I used to work either. You're better off buying a seperate microphone or selling that headset for a headset that works with both console and PC. Normally the USB plugs into the PC and the 3.5mm goes into the console. The USB is only ever plugged into the console for power but when it's plugged into a PC it's used for data. Example the PX22. But might want to find something that's better for PS4

A quick update. I've managed to find a 1 female into 2 males USB cable, but I'm not sure It'll do the job as the seller says the use of this It to receive power from 2 devices. Will this do the job I'm looking for?
