Media House for Rent

My husband and I are considering opening a "media house" in a DC suburb to rent to local vloggers who need a clean and private space to create various videos from comedy skits, fashion, product reviews, cooking videos and whatever else that might make sense in the space. The space would be fully renovated and staged with lighting and other media equipment available with staging changes allowed.

My question is: Is this a service that is this something that this YouTube community could use? I realize that not everyone is in this area, but would this be a value to you if it were in your area?

I feel like it could help people, I see a lot of post on here talking about not having enough space to record videos. If I had the money and YouTube was my job I probably would want to rent a space to make videos

Yeah, I could see something like this as valuable, but the rent would need to be really affordable. :o As in, 20 - 30 dollars a day...and even that is a lot of money for people who don't earn money from their channel because of the new monetization rules. People who earn a decent amount from their channel probably have their own setup somewhere in their home for convenience.

And as an owner, I would be really concerned about equipment theft and damage -- in particular, small things like SD cards can easily sneak out the door... But it would be cool if you had a nice setup for people to use --, especially a properly-lit green screen!

Thank you Courtney Candice and KatyAdelson,
Especially for the rate suggestion. We envision this being a very nice, clean and private backdrop for people who are trying to create. We are not Youtubers or photographers but we have a staged house full of audio-visual equipment that might help others who just need a different space to film or take pictures. It would be a 3 bed 3 full bath house. Available to one or two vloggers at a time, but we are hoping to set up each room for different purposes. I am also asking the question to find out if it would be feasible to invest in additional lighting and rigs. THANKS again for your input!
