Posting Mad!
I was recently contacted about joining a mcn called vspgroup. I want to know if anyone can tell me anything about this network.
Any information is appreciated.
Thank you.

There are tons of random little networks that will contact you and try to get you to join. If it's a network no one's heard of, it's not worth your time.

Thank you, that's what I'm trying to find out. I've never heard of them but their site says that they have almost 62,000 partners. I'm hoping to hear from someone who is or was a partner so I can find out if they are worthwhile.

They may have a lot of partners, but what do they do for you? By the looks of it, although they give you 80% cut of the advertising, there doesn't seem to be anything about premium rates that they're able to get, which are gained by networks such as Fullscreen and Maker. You wouldn't get any additional revenue - they'd take 20%, for very basic features which are offered by other networks, whom also offer far more!

For example, Fullscreen normally offer a 70-30 cut, but offer premium advertising options, which earn more money anyway. Plus with a bundle of other features, it's worth the extra 10% (because as I've said, each ad earns more money anyway). I'm not selling Fullscreen - it's just the network i'm most knowledgeable on.

Just think very carefully before signing any contracts![DOUBLEPOST=1435774324,1435774195][/DOUBLEPOST]In fact, after further looking into it, for a channel of your size that network you posted about would also offer a 70-30 split. I wouldn't bother with it, seems very basic and offers less features and benefits than more premium networks, who offer the same cut!

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your response. From what I could see, I didn't think they offered much either. I just figured I'd get some other opinions. Thanks again, :).

Sorry, where I can read about these premium advertising options ? Is there anyone who really got this or it's just a "words" again (I've heard about this around 10 times here on YT forum, but actually no one gave any real evidence about it). Thank you.

Also, VSP is one of the best MCN in Europe (actually they are from Israel). If you are there (Europe), they could be very helpful to your channel because they provide some original stuff like: their own studio + their cameras (which is really usefull if you make you own show); or last summer they organized a trip on yacht (/watch?v=tVtezX4vQw4) with their top youtubers (I never heard about FullScreen or a Maker doing the same). Just consider it better - my advice.

To directly quote Fullscreen, "We help you take advantage of the amazing opportunities of online video. Besides packaging and selling ads on your channel to boost CPMs, we also give you top-level referral bonuses, merchandising and crowdfunding tools, and an awesome sales team that connects you with top brands for ad and sponsorship opportunities." As for people who have actually got this, it generally seems to be a positive reaction. Unskippable ads are also added, which brings in more income too.

As well as boosting the CPMs, they have the additional earnings features, not to mention the ability to increase earnings through their Gorilla feature once the channel is at a significant size.

In comparison to the network he was considering, Fullscreen definitely offer way more for the same cut.

for Vlog Channel may be I will goto Fullscreen, VSP sent you invitation because their recruiter need your money :D
