Matched third party content removed automatically

I have a cover song which has been filled with copyright notice from SME (Sony Music Entertainment) since the day I uploaded it (and I'm pretty satisfied with that) and I noticed lately that youtube removed the matched third party content automatically (I didn't dispute or did anything.) Is that means Youtube is allowing me to monetize it now ?

here what it looks like on my video manager :

when I click on the grey dollar, this appears :

If it's in the same style as your other videos, generally if you have any master recording that isn't properly licensed, you should not monetize your video, even if the notification of matched content isn't there. If you've recorded everything yourself, then it's OK to monetize your cover through Content ID.

Your content is awesome though! As a fellow guitarist and music video creator I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the crap out of that Demi Lovato cover!

That looks like YouTube is allowing you to monetize it now. Whether you should do so is a different question ...

that's confusing me... well I thought about giving a chance on an old video which is a cover (it has never been filled with any copyright notice) and yes it worked! now I have a green dollar and it is successfully monetized, now my question is : is that legal ? I mean if my video which is a cover song is approved for monetization by youtube I shouldn't be in trouble in future right ? no ?

There are networks who specialize in and cater to cover channels (I've heard 'We Are The Hits' mentioned more than a few times on here). I'd recommend doing some research and checking them out.

While YouTube may (currently) say you can monetize them, you still don't have the necessary rights to do so at any time you can still be 3rd partied or receive a copyright strike.

Another issue is that your covers aren't covers, they're accompaniments which makes it even easier for ContentID to find and flag them...and should give you even more reason to seek out any needed rights.
