Marking comments as seen?

Yes, I have pants. Do I wear them? No.
Am I doing something wrong??? I always go to my comments and it says five new. But its ones I have already seen, I open and close them, refresh the page, they are all in dark text again and it says 5 new. I hate deleting but thats what I have resorted to, is there some secret magical button I press to make it to where they are not new?
 
I have the same problem... all the time! After a few days/weeks though the comments finally understand and un-blacken themselves...

Yeah that happens to me all the time. I just click through them a couple of times..they tend to go away after a while. Mine always do.
