Making YT vids when you're on a holiday/vacation?

I've Got It
Some peole are using some great schedules for their video's and got some moments when they are working on their video's. For myself a schedule wont work. Every week is different, but what about holidays? When you're on a holiday/vacation. Like, away from home. Do you still make your video's to keep to the schedule? Yes or no? And why :)? I think I will take the holiday as a 'rest' period and I'll edit and upload my video's after the holiday. Or maybe some short vlog videos during the holiday haha :).
 
I think whenever I go on holiday/vacation I'll try to make sure that I have enough content available and ready to be released. I also plan on recording something while on vacation as a vlog showing off where I was and what I did while I was there.

Ah nice :)! That is a great idea as well! Just making content before you go on holiday haha.
 
I do some travel videos for my channel so, I actually try my best to record a video while on vacation if possible. It's win/win for me as I tend to create an itinerary rather than wing it. It's easier when you travel alone rather than with a group as you have much more control. It helps if I give myself enough time to shoot a video and enjoy the vacation itself.

But, what I gather is that you are talking about editing and uploading videos while on vacation. If I have something ready, I try to publish it before I go to tide anyone over and then if I shot video, try to put it together after I return. My channel's pace works for this.
 
You have a couple of options. Either you can change your content during holidays/breaks and upload something that reflects where you are (travel vlog or something about the area you're visiting) or you can schedule and upload content to be released on the same schedule while you're away.

It's a great thing to keep a few videos in your pocket for times when you can't record. Life gets in the way for many reasons, so it's good to be able to use something you've already made rather than stress about trying to get something done while you're on vacation/sick/at work.
 
Yeah.
I am so commited to do daily videos now that I feel guilty if I miss a day lol

So I always make sure to have a lot of pre-recorded videos ready for scheduling.
