Making Money

This is part of why I keep my costs as low as possible. I'm used to spending money on my passion projects (I regularly lose hundreds of dollars on each theater production I do, because my local theater can only budget for a small amount per play, and I want it to be perfect), but I try not to go overboard.

I do have many, many, many hundreds of dollars worth of puppets right now, and now I'm buying the materials and patterns to make my own. I may not be good at budgeting, is what I'm saying.

It is definitely the long game you have to play. To expect money to come immediately is one of the cruxes it comes for many YouTubers. Expect a lot and receive little is the recipe for quitting. As long as you can make compelling and enjoyable content, people will start watching, then more and more. That's the whole point of subs. It's like a snowball effect!
