Making money out of my channel...

Long story short...

I want to make money off my YouTube channel, but absolutely not something I'd do for a living. But rather have a target to fund another project. About $10k at least.

I am an animator, I can easily make something creative and upload a video on weekly basis. My question is, how many views I need to get this much?

-(Please don't say anything about getting a job, I already have one, and all of my money goes to support my family. I hate it but can't afford to quit)
-(Patreon is not acceptable since I'm not really comfortable with the idea of e-begging)

To get an average figure, multiply the amount of money in $ by 1000. That's roughly how many views you'd need. So $10k = 10 million views.

Factors that will affect how much channel earns:

Time of year (Beginning of year the lowest $ and end of the year the most)
location of audience (Western Europe and North America the most $)
and many other factors.

Unless you're advertising your patreon every single video for like 5 minutes I don't see why it'd be e-begging. For animations it's a moderately reasonable request, some will still sht on it but eh. Everything has haters. You mention it 1x for people that wish to support you and then you chuck the link into your descriptions... if people wanna help out they have that option, if not then no harm done.
