An end slate is done in a size of 1920x1080 px. Usually includes a spot for a video or two, which can be done with a rectangle made with the rectangle/shape tool. Then also include and social media you do, like you can put a facebook thing, and have an annotation over it so when you click it goes to your facebook. Its all down to preference. And yes I do Banners, End Slates, and to an extent logos and thumbnails.

Personally I just make them in Premiere Pro when I finish editing. It would probably look a little nicer if I used Photoshop or After Effects, but it's good enough.
