I have managed to get my contract upgraded to a year contract. Originally from two.

When I accepted the invite no contract had been sent. Is this common on YouTube ? Are they allowed to do this ? Tie me in when I haven't signed a contract ? I thought you click accept, then they send over the contract. Seems you lock in as soon as you click accept. Hopefully I have got this across right...

As soon as I took this up with Maker they backed down from refusing to let me leave and offered me a new contract. So either they realized something in the process has gone wrong. Or they have finally shown some compassion and reduced my contract for that reason only.

DO NOT go with Maker it'll put you in RPM the low end of Maker. Go with this network: freedom.tm

Just to clarify Bryce was trying to recruit using his referral link there which isnt permitted here. I would put in a ticket and see what they say :)
 
in my process of maker application, I signed the contract first, and then they review my channel, after that invite comes in.

Michael it was not a referral link. just saying beacuse the referral link in freedom is longer than freedom.tm . freedom.tm is were youtubers can sign up and see benefits what that mcn gives. Not a referral link thats you are saying.

I edited his post and removed the referral portion of it.
