Hey guys, in the last Maker Gen newsletter there was a mentioning of Maker Gen partners now being to access a new audio library from Epidemic Sound:

Maker Gen is releasing 2 new applications accessible through Maker Max. We've recently partnered with Spreadshirt and Epidemic Sound by covering the subscription fee to further enhance your experience with our network!

Epidemic Sound is an expansive music library with high quality tracks available for your videos. Maker Gen is covering the subscription cost for all partners, just remember to give appropriate credit (in the description)!

Does anyone know how we access the new library? I really want to see what is available there as I hear that Epidemic is great for audio tracks. In the email it did mention clicking the tile in Maker Max but I cannot see it just yet, is it available to you?

Yo Michael, you have to log into Maker Max: https://max.makerstudios.com/

Then you have to click on the tile/icon for Epidemic :) I think you have to authenticate your Maker Max account as well, but this should already be done if you've already linked your youtube account with Maker Max :)

If it's not on that main dashboard it hasn't been rolled out to your account yet, they tweeted a while back that it's rolling out slowly :) You should get it this month sometime though.

Atleast Maker seems to be going to way of developing some nice technology :D

and it's good they're spending more too, maybe the 30-40% could become more worth it for smaller channels with a few more usually paid services for free.

Im excited to get access :D I need access before I can properly add it to the announcements thread too, I dont want to write about it without having a look/try first hand :D
 
Epidemic Sound is such a large inprovement over AudioMicro :D I'm not sure if Maker Gen are continuing their relationship with AudioMicro, but the interface and ease of use of Epidemic Sound makes finding new sounds and background tracks enjoyable, actually making me want to experiment with new background tracks instead of sticking to the same ones video after video.
