Hey everyone,

Hope someone can answer this! I just checked my socialblade and saw that I LOST 1.6k views the other day! Is this due to the fact I had to put a video to unlisted due to something in the video so the views from that were from that video were subtracted from the view count?
 
Unlisted and private video views do not count towards the total views displayed in your channel's view count. But the views haven't really "gone away." They will "come back" to your channel's total view count if you put the videos back to the public setting.

I'm guessing you put the video on private/unlisted (-1.8k) but then received 200 views between when the video was put to private and the numbers were updated on YouTube.
 
Yep, KatyAdelson is right, I freaked out once when it looked like I'd lost a few thousand views, but I was putting some videos on private/unlisted and realized the views no longer counted.
 
I put a few videos on private awhile go and my views do go down! When you private/ put videos on unlisted the views don't show up when on the front of your YouTube page but if you go in video manager you should still see the views from your videos you unlisted
