Loss of motivation...

I used to be really into YouTube, always trying to record and make new stuff. However for the past month I really have not bothered at all. I have nobody to play games with and I just cant seem to make myself do it on my own. Any tips for what might get me going again?

Try making some tester videos without any obligation to upload. That way there is no pressure and who knows you may end up making one you really like! It's like writer's block, you have to just get yourself out of it, don't wait for it to end or you may never pick up again.

If you are looking for other people to collaborate with, you might want to check in the Collaborations & Meet Up's section here on YTTalk, you may find some people to play with there.

If motivation is an issue, then as Tonio said other just do what you want to do and what you like doing.

You could try doing some different types of videos to try and get some more interests flowing.

Just keep recording, If you fancy playing a game, just record it and speak your mind while playing, You'll soon have something you really like and feel proud of uploading!

Thanks all Decided I should invest in an Xbox recorder so I can just record while I play games then chat over gameplay about stuff that interests me and funny stories ect.

Make other videos too. Rant, rave, blog. Everyone just wants to sit and play a game nowadays. Put some effort into it. I know my stuff is similar, but I have to edit in all the scenes and skits and reviewing. I'm not just filming a playthrough and calling it a day.
