looking for new computer this week!! please help!!!!

hi everyone, im looking to get a new computer and need some help because i dont know much about the technical details of computers.

im looking for a laptop for the professional side of my life. school/work/video editting (vegas pro). so i need something very reliable, and not to big so i can bring it around if needed. (16in screen MAX). i want a touchscreen because i dont like windows 8 without it.

since i will be doing video editting on it, i need a 500+gb harddrive to store my videos, i also need a good processor and a good amount of RAM, and a nice hd screen. i want an HDMI output i also want something that looks nice and sleek. budget is 1200ish, give or take a hundred. speakers dont matter much because i use headphones.

did i mention i hate MACs? lol. my fav brand is asus, but am open to different brands if the price is right and its a great computer.

this is a computer i have been looking at, but my budget has gone up since i found this, so i dont mind spending a few extra bucks on something if its better than this. Asus Q501LA-BBI5T03

yeah i know a desktop would be better and cheaper, but the laptop is way better for what i need, thanks for those!! im gonna look them up!
