Right, you really don't need an amazing video editor seen as you are just starting out. First, buy editing software (Camtasia Studio is what I use but Sony Vegas is awesome) then, browse youtube and learn how to edit with the program and then start rendering your videos. Personally, I do not think you need a designated editor as if you are a group of people handing all your videos to one person it could be quite frustrating. But that is my opinion. The best editor is yourself as only you know what you really want done with your videos
