I am looking for some advice on what network to join. I have been with the BuzzmyVideos network but really regret it after wasting 2 years with them and dont want to waste any more time stuck in another contract. I a looking into RPM and fullscreen as my 2 main choices but would love any personal experiences with them and their tools they use and how they have helped you grow as a channel

From my experience being with fullscreen for 2 years they usually focus on their youtube vloggers (and FullscreenArcade is very picky on their certain youtube gamers). I Heard freedom! is good for small youtubers especially gamers, might wanna check them out. Hopefully this helps, best of luck.
 
I don't recommand going with fullscreen, with a gaming channel you won't make it there, RPM too, networks won't help you grow your channel, imagine a channel with 500 subscribers betweens thousands of 100k - 5million subscribers channels, do you think they would waste their time to promote your channel ... especially Fullscreen, i was going to join them but i changed my mind after i saw their partners plus they have a 2 years contract. I recommand joining Curse or Machinima, i have heard alot of good things about those two networks and they're gaming networks so yeah, wish you best of luck!

good call, I'm planning to leave there soon (my 2 years are done).
 
No network will ever actually help you grow. 80% of them out there are just there to suck you in a contract and take a 45% cut after YouTube takes their own 45% cut. Just find a network that has a high revshare % for you and no long contracts. Hell, there are even networks that will take %15 but are too small and just leech while they can't and won't do anything for you.

I would recommend waiting for JetPak which Seananners is helping to create. It is a network that will not take any revshare but if you need it you can pay for monthly services with higher costing services helping you do more. Or you could look for good network that has a high CPM. Ask for proof by them giving you numbers from channels similar to yours (be it vloggers, first person shooter commentators, let's players) at the same time of year. Don't compare January to June numbers, you need to pay attention to their CPMs at the same months. Some networks actually can have a higher CPM than AdSense by having their own types of advertisements.
 
No networks will help you grow.
For a small channel, I recommend CreativeNation. 90/10 split, no lock-in. You won't find better deal with any other network at that size. Plus it's no lock-in and no payment threshold.
Fullscreen and RPM won't help you and they lock you in for 1-2 years with a mediocre split.
 
Do not go with network at the moment. When you reach at least 15k + views monthly then apply to best one. But be sure to go in a sub network cuz you are small cuz the big ones it wont even help you a bit.
