Looking for a Pop Filter [Blue Yeti]

I'm on a pop filter search for my blue yeti. I've come up with this (almost) solution on amazon.

The Nady MPF-6, the IMAGE® Flexible Microphone Mic Pop Filter, or the niceEshop Studio Microphone Mic Wind Screen Pop Filter. All at Amazon. I would give the link for faster look, but apparently, I can't post links. Lol.

I was wondering which is best or if there is a better one.

What works great actually, is a foam ball that you can buy at most craft or art shops; you just need to dig a hole in it. You can also purchase something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Stage-Foam-Ball-Type-Windscreen-Black/dp/B0002GXF8Q/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1388313620&sr=8-5&keywords=IMAGE® Flexible Microphone Mic Pop Filter

I actually had that generic pop filter by nicEshop or IMAGE (both are the same by the way, just different name) and it worked fine, but it didn't stay on very well due to the angles clamp, so if you don't want to adjust it every now and then, I'd suggest to stay away from that. A double filter works better so I think either one would be better than the Nady--which appears on the image to be a single filter and does not have a flat clamp. I can attach a picture of the issue that I'm talking about if you want to see it. :x32:

You can always get the Blue pop filter which works very nicely, but you have to drill a hole into the base stand.

EDIT:
I'd prefer not to drill a hole into my stand at the current moment xD
I was thinking about the Nady since it was double-filtered and I've seen examples of it. I actually have the foam ball which actually doesn't work that much for me. And sure, give me a pic. I also need to know whether posting links is a VIP thing or not D: It's killing me.

I think it is a VIP thing. Sorry, I'm not too familiar with that since I have mine on automatic since I joined. I'll get the picture here in a bit. The pop filter itself works great, and I never had any popping issues with it on; it's the adjusting thing that gets to me.

See, the thing is, the pop filter is meant to clamp on to a circular surface, like you see in the sample images on Amazon. The Blue Yeti is too thick around the circular mic part and the rounded flat surface it too thin (where I clamped it). You'll see what I mean in the picture when I get it up, but even though I have it clamped down all the way, it moves around because there is no grip on the angle end with the foam padding. It's secure and it won't fall off, however it can easily move off and come loose.[DOUBLEPOST=1388315134,1388314845][/DOUBLEPOST]Sorry about the random angle. I think my camera flipped the image.
Oh and I had a thick sock over the mic to prevent sound from my computer. My computer is loud, ha.

EDIT: See how it only clamps to one point? That is why it moves around. Ideally, the clamp should hit two or more points.

Oh, I gotta ask a mod about this. I was able to post a link until some months.[DOUBLEPOST=1388315647,1388315207][/DOUBLEPOST]dat sock, bro. I know about loud computers (moi). Huh, the clamp looks a different for some reason. Oh, well. I'm able to take the risk for the sake of my ears.

You can mount the Blue pop filter without drilling a hole into your Blue Yeti. Google "Mounting The Pop filter onto Yeti and Yeti Pro", and click on the first result (It should be a Bluemic page). That's what I did and it works perfectly :)

You could always make your own pop filter for very cheap. There are a lot of good videos on this. I dont use one, but may make my own one day. You make them by using panty hose.

There is a new pop filter on Amazon which was made to clamp to your desktop, but more relevant to this thread .. it clamps directly to the blue yeti without having to drill a hole. There is a picture on the listing showing it easily attaching to a Blue Yeti.

Seems I can't place a link here, but it is an Auphonix Flat Clamp filter. The Amazon Number thingie is B00HBN6T1I.

It's only got a few reviews but they look pretty good. And the other filter by the same crowd has lots of good reviews too. I saw somewhere that they recognized that people didn't want to drill their mic, so made this filter just for this situation.

[EDIT: Here is a picture from the Amazon listing showing it on the Yeti]

I've found that a double filter muffles the sound a little bit. I personally think a single filter would be just fine, just don't put it too close to the mic or it won't be as effective in filtering out plosives and pops. I keep mine about half a foot from my mic.

I haven't noticed that with the double filter, but then again , I have not tried a single mesh. Maybe I should, just to get the comparison.
