Longest Render Time for a video?

Michael

I Love YTtalk
What is the very longest time you have had to wait for a video to render or publish? How long was the video you were rendering?

The longest I have waited is about 45 minutes and it was a 20 minute long full HD video.

I think mine was around 3 hours on my old computer and the video was 20 minutes long xD

Im having a big rendering problem at the moment a 2008 macbook pro with final cut pro and it takes hours to render and export a 3 minute quick time! The source footage is HD and I scale it down alot for export. Any ideas why its so sloooow?

`12 hours

3D Physics simulations, fire simulations and hardcore compositing

s**t was hard.

EDIT : All on a 2011 macbook , at some point I tough the thing would catch fire.

45 minutes for a full HD 20 minute long video? That's very fast in my eyes, my computer would've been at it for a good 2 and a half hours.

Longest time to render one of my cartoons is 24 minutes. They usually take between 19 and 22 minutes.

27 Hours for about 1 minute and 15 secs video rendered as photo Jpeg. I was using a lot of effects, realistic shadows, green screened, etc ect :p

Woah... I would have cancelled that render lol.

I had to wait about 3 hours for a 4 min long video. Too much of color grading, tracks, and audio levels were involved.
