So I have used Final Cut for a few years at school. Unfortunately I do not have a mac and I don't have the money to buy one either so I bought Adobe Elements 12 instead. Now Elements 12 is great and I'm still learning how to use it but one thing I'm trying figure out is how to lock tracks. For example, if I do a voiceover and I want to put clips over my voiceover it cuts the voiceover up too. In Final Cut there was a feature where you could "lock" either the video or the audio tracks and the wouldn't move. Now I realize there is an option to "mute" the audio. Doing this does lock it so it doesn't move, but in addition it mutes it so it won't play. I was wondering if anyone knows if Adobe Elements has a lock option. Let me know how to do it or if you have a link to a video on how to do it.
