Live streaming effective?

is live-streaming effective for new YouTubers?

I took a long 4 year break from YouTube ! I had a prank channel we gathered about 600 subscribers, but I am looking to do pranks live! But I have heard that not many viewers will find my videos! Any advice!?

I haven't ventured into live streaming yet, but I've seen it do really well for some small youtubers (500-1k subs) and of course when big guys do it they're getting Super chat $$ every other minute.

It can be, but livestreaming is a different beast from traditional YT content and seems to attract a different audience. For exposure it's fine,but if you want to grow an audience that consumes ALL of your content, it might be a bit of a challenge.
