Was Just wondering how on Earth do I live commentarys , do i basically click record as a game starts (gaming videos) or what? Also how would I go about doing a dual commentary? What would I use?

Would love to find out :)

I use a "elgato game capture" to record the footage, and for audio I use a cheap £20 microsoft headset I got of Amazon, but I'll be upgrading soon

Blech sub4sub...

Live commentary is done in one of two ways. The crappy way is to have the capture device record your vocals. If you're on PC, then FRAPS or whatnot would record from your mic. Again, this is the crappy way.

The better way is to run Fraps and Audacity(or better) side by side. Start recording in Audacity, alt+tab to the game and snap your fingers in front of the mic when you hit the record button. This gives you an easy sync spot when you start to edit the video to line your voice up.

would this work for xbox gameplay?

I'm not an expert on Capture cards or PVRs but my understanding is that a computer is still involved in the process. So you should still have a record function, still be able to run Skype (instead of in game chat which is terribad) and Audacity at the same time.
