Live Commentary

Sound happy when doing a video, its hard and I still haven't mastered it but its key to being a good commentator. You can help improve on this by increasing your confidence, smiling while talking (Yes it does help!) and pretend your talking to someone such as your friend/s.
Also don't feel bad if you think you don't sound that great compared to youtubers you watch, you will improve as you continue to create videos.

Don't talk too much, but don't let there be too much parts with you no talking. Just find something in the middle, just talk when needed but don't try to talk the whole time, that will make you ramble too much. ;)

I prefer to do post-production commentary (at least, so I did in my old channel with a couple of exceptions). You avoid talking when unnecessary, and you can find some good ideas for jokes or stuff like that that in live commentary may not be found

@Conso1727 I've tried post commentary, but it started getting hard to do because I wouldn't know what to write down for me to talk about and when I tried live commentary I had more fun doing it, but now I'm nervous about live commentary haha

And thanks to all of you for the great advice! :giggle::D

Commentate as if you're playing a role, but your character is simply your ideal self-image in a great mood. By seeing it as an act, letting lose to be more creative, outgoing, funny, stupid, and simply put entertaining is far easier.

Be yourself lol and if you're a character just act like him in some way like how he talks and such
